COLLECTION The Davy library collection is organized by subjects through the classification Decimal System. We have a general collection concentrated on the needs of secondary students and teaching staff. Also, we have a collection created exclusively for primary, kinder and Inicial students. All books are placed on open shelves.
SOFTWARE DESTINY: Destiny is the integrated software for the automation of librarian procedures (acquisition, technical procedures, and circulation. Users can search for resources through the library web. The technical procedures are based on international standards and lead us to exchange information through Z-3950 protocol and Alliance Plus.The library has about 9,000 titles and 21,000 copies between books and magazines. The printed matter includes the following: - Reference books (encyclopedias, dictionaries, atlas) - General subjects (history, literature, science, language) - Biographies - Fiction - Newspapers (Panorama Cajamarquino and El Comercio) - Magazines (about 65 titles ) Additionally, we have other informational support such as CD-ROMS, VHS, maps and big books.
